CHRISTMAS TIME AND OUR WINTER HOLIDAY 2019

We had beautiful time with family and dogs during Christmas time, some trips and nice walks....
Two day before the end of the year our „puppy“ Lukier with his „mommy“ Ewa came to visit us. At New Years Eve we joined the sammy family in Koplotovce for small walk and party with good food and drink :)

DOGSHOW AND TRIP IN PRAGUE

This year we finally made a plan for trip and some visit during our stay in Prague for dogshows. Our Lunka decided to loose almost all her coat 2 weeks before the show. Oh no...
Basty is almost in full coat and we take our youngest girl Siena with us. Siena and Luna are sisters and great friends for trips and make fun...
The weather was not very nice, but the sun was shining during our trip to old town and we had nice day with our friends. Thank you very much to Jarka, Ota, Ivetka, Svaťo and all other who we met on the show and we all had together nice weekend.

27.10.2019 – beautiful Sunday at the dogshow in Bratislava. Only few days before the show the orgamisators changed the judge for samoyeds....and we have never heard about him. Samoyeds were the last judged breed in our ring and it looked like this judge is very strict, but probably samoyed smile was the reason for his smile too.

SLOVAK AND CZECH SAMOYED CAMP „KUNOVSKÁ PRIEHRADA“

20.-22.9.2019

20.-22.9.2019 sammy people had a reason for celebration because of meeting at samoyed camp in Senica near Kunovská priehrada. After 3 yeras Slovak and Czech samoyed club organized samoyed camp together, weekend full of joy, fun, competitions, nice people with amazing samoyeds. People from other part of Slovakia, Czech republic, Poland traveled very long way to spend time with other people with the same passion.... Weather was very nice and all participants could taste a lot of food and specialities. The ruffle was on saturday evening. Sled of 24 samoyeds pulling the car was the strongest moment for me.... Then we made canicross, scooter, sport and funny activity „Po stopách samojedov“, Samoyed mini olympic games and competitions between czech and slovak team in different activities... Then the discussion with vet took place and then we had barbecue party. I think everybody from participants has a lot of experiences and thanks to sponsors everybody has a lot of presents, especially for dogs. Thank you very much!

31.8.2019 – last day of August we spent on the show in Rybnik – Poland. We came to Poland after very long time, so we were very surprised because of very high entry of samoyeds at the show – 38. Our Sienka was in intermediate with other 5 females and Lunka was in open class with other 6 females. We were so happy when our dogs wons their classes and Lunka got CACIB.

Last week in August we have planned trip to our friend Marcela and her family, they have very nice cottage at beautiful place. We had some barbecue, walks to forest, looking for some mushrooms, trips and of course talking, talking talking. Especially our Siena was pretty happy because of playing with puppy friends Zoey and Charleen...

SUMMER VISITS

During this summer we had some nice meetings with our “puppies” and their owners. Edwin from G litter came for visit to Slovakia from Luxemburg, family of Einar from E litter came to visit us and we had the possibility to visit beautiful boy Tequila from our A litter and his family. And of course we made small trip to holiday cottage to visit Lunka and her family...

HOLIDAYS IN SLOVENIA

At the beginning of August we went for a mini-holiday to the beautiful place of Kranjska gora in Slovenia with our dogs Bastik, Reeva and Sienka. We spent wonderful days in the company of our friend Matejka, her husband Igor and their samoyeds Jazz, Kan and Joy. One day we made a trip to Tamar, where the owners of our next puppy Lev from litter G - Ada and Ales with children joined us. On the last day of our vacation, our friends took us to the magic lake Jasna, almost all the time we walked in the bed of a cold river, which was especially appreciated by our dogs. We enjoyed our stay in Slovenia very much!

New star with name Alice is shining on the sky.....Alicka was shining for all her life, everybody who met her have to love her. We are so happy that Alice was and always will be part of our life. She taught us so much, she gave love to everybody....Our brave girl....she fought so strongly, she wanted to live so much.... She humbled all the limits in encyclopaedias and wise medical books.
She had everything what she loved till the last second... our love, our company and good food...
We would like to thank you to everybody, who helped us during this difficult one year of the fight with the terrible disease, we apreciate it very much.. Our hearts are broken to milions pieces, tears are flowing and they will flow for a long time... But Alice gave us a lot of beautiful memories and she will always live in our hearts and in her progeny.

We had extreme heat in June in Slovakia, very hard for us and for dogs too, so they spent lot of time inside the house where is AC and we start to do some activities with dogs in the evening. We didn´t go for a walk due to the hot asphalt so we are in the garden...

EUROPEAN SHOW IN WELS

We have been thinking for a long time if to go or not to European dogshow this year. We heard nothing good about the plans for this show, but we said... it is quite near to Slovakia and our house, we were in Wels more times ...so we will give the chance to this show  But after this show we can say only „if we stayed at home, we made better deccission“ - organisation of transport, parking, entrance to the show, place for exhibitors and dogs in hall, heat in hall, missing people in the rings and hall and the judge.... it was one big tragedy .... Everybody could see negative comments on facebook...
Only one positive thing for us was meeting with our dear friends at the evening before the show and meeting friends during the show....

SAMOYED TOUR TATRY 2019

Another year passed by.... and we were looking forward to second half of May to go for our holidays in High Tatras.... This year it was for the 4th time already...
The weather was not very nice this year... first days it was raining almost whole days... but we wanted to go for trips and have fun together with our dogs.. so on Wednesday we had only short trip to Hrebienok and Studenovodský potok and then evening barbecue. Longer trip was on Tuesday... to Waterfall Skok....it was more difficult like last year because of lot of water on the walking trail... at some places here was snow and ice... dogs had more fun like people, but the trip was fine. After that we made small walk around Štrbské pleso, some photos... of course. Martin was cooking his famous cabbage and we had some nice visit. Friday... will we go finally to Zelené pleso ? It is raining... but the sun started to shine after breakfast and we could start our long awaited trip to Zelené pleso... It was funny trip, because our group split into three parts... first one was fast and they decided to go on the way with yellow mark. We were in the second group and we didn´t know which way the first group went... we decided to go on the way with blue mark...It was very difficult... and we lost for a while near Biele pleso.... We came to the cottage near Zelené pleso more then 2 hours later then first group... and the third group was already at cottage, they went on yellow mark.. But we were satisfied. We had another barbecue at the evening and the last members of our group came.
Boys wanted to go to Teryho chata on Saturday, but the snow and ice conditions were not good for us and dogs.... so we decided to go to Zamkovského chata... but here was competition and a lot of people so we changed our mind and made other trip. After that our friends from Štrba came and we made cooking speciality – polish Žurek. It was fantastic !!! and how people participated and helped with everything... it was really amazing.
Last day – Sunday – it was finally good weather... for dogs maybe too hot for longer trip, so we made walk only in Smokovec.... got some coffe and icecream and talk....
It was really nice holiday with lot of fun, nice visits and trips... maybe more difficult like in other years, but we try to be strong as our breed is... Looking forward to next time :)

9.-10.2.2019 we spent beautiful time with our dogs and friends in the town Červená voda – Orlické hory.... a lot of snow, beautiful walks, skiing and talking, talking, talking  Dogs were very happy about running and playing in the snow....

WINTER SAMOYED CAMP JIZERSKÉ HORY

After one year break we decided to participate again at winter samoyed camp, organised by Samoyed club of Czech republic. We spent beuatiful weekend with amazing people and lovely dogs in Josefov dol. Beautiful walks with dogs, competitions in running with dogs in snow, sledge... beautiful evening with traditional music.... Big thanks to all people who prepared this samoyed camp, we have a lot of nice memories!
